Plain English: We collect only what we need to run the service. We never sell your data. Audio and screenshots are processed in real time and are not stored.

3. What We Do NOT Do
- We do not record or store your microphone audio.
- We do not store the screenshots you capture in the app.
- We do not track your physical location.
- We do not sell or rent your data to advertisers or third parties.
- We do not use your personal data to train AI models.
4. Third-Party Services
To run CrackRound AI, we rely on trusted third-party providers. Each has its own privacy policy:

5. How We Use Your Data
- Your resume and job description are used only to generate relevant answers for you.
- Your email is used for login and essential service communication.
- Usage data is used only for billing and to keep the service running.
- We may use anonymous, aggregated statistics (containing no personal data) to improve the product.
6. Data Retention
- Account data is kept while your account is active.
- Resume and job-description text is kept until you delete it or your account.
- Temporary session logs are automatically deleted within 24 hours.
- On account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email support@crackround.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Users in the EU/EEA have additional rights under the GDPR, including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
8. Security
- Authentication is handled through Google Firebase; we do not store your password.
- All sensitive API keys are stored only on our server, never in the desktop app.
- Data in transit is protected using HTTPS/TLS encryption.
- Database rules restrict each user's access to their own data only.
9. Children's Privacy
CrackRound AI is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active users by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
